Well, I'm male, currently live in Ontario, California, and work for Newegg.com, an online retailer. I love my job, and (most) of the people I work with. I'm divorced, but hope to be walking down the aisle again sometime soon with someone I've known for 30+ years. I've been a member of the SCA for 35 years this September. I'm a long-time "Trekkie", a lifetime Superman fan, and read as much and as often as I can.
I guess I'd be classified as a "progressive libertarian" politically -- I don't agree with some of the Liberal "social engineering", and gods, I wish the Democrats could get their act together, but they're better than what's in the Executive Mansion now.
Religiously -- I'm unabashedly and unashamedly pagan, and have been since June of 1974. I follow a Celtic path, but I respect all faiths, for all of them are attempts by imperfect souls to grow closer to the divine presence. I just don't like those who use and manipulate religion for political ends.
I also like to research and read about Celtic culture, language and lore, and have a large-ish library on that subject, military history, medieval history, European history, science fiction and fantasy, modern politics, and . . . cooking.
I love cooking, of all sorts, but especially for groups and from medieval/renaissance recipes. I also love doing cakes, pastries, and almost anything chocolate.
I also am fond of firearms (one reason I guess I'm not a "true" liberal), and have been shooting since age 9, although I'm currently out of practice.
I've been an amateur actor since age 6, and done everything from Jack and the Beanstalk (age 6), to "Camelot" (age 19) to "Bell, Book and Candle", and renaissance Commedia, and a Kabuki-style version of "The Shogun and the Beast." I can also be seen on the fan-produced Star Trek series "Hidden Frontier" as "Siroc" -- the baddest bad guy.
